Owners Flora and Ping Lum just cel­e­brat­ed Wing Hing Restaurant’s 25th anniver­sary. Flo­ra’s sparkling pres­ence lights up the front of the house while Ping runs the kitchen. This enterprising couple met as kids in Chi­na when they were play bud­dies and have been married for 35 years.

Choose a day when there’s not a line to take a look through their window, adorned with roast­ed duck, chick­en, racks of ribs, pork bel­ly, and oth­er cuts like char siu (Chinese BBQ pork) and admire the server as he wields his cleaver on a well-worn wooden block with precision. They serve a full slate of hot ta­ble clas­sics, including egg rolls, fried rice, and chow mein but also fea­ture a much larger menu. What­ev­er you do, try one of their signature dishes: the char siu (Chinese BBQ pork), hand chopped pork bel­ly with crispy skin, or roast duck.

Should you want some­thing spe­cial, they of­fer a whole pig. Just make sure that you put in your or­der at least three days in ad­vance! That’s some­thing we’re putting on the menu for our next lawn par­ty.

Los propietarios, Flora y Ping Lum, acaban de celebrar el 25 aniversario del restaurante Wing Hing. La brillante presencia de Flora ilumina el frente del restaurante mientras Ping dirige la cocina.
